Lakewood Adult Family Home, Inc.
is a private and state-licensed residential care home located in Castleton.
Our nine bed home can be found within the western foothills of central Vermont
in the heart of the lakes region. We are licensed under the State of
Vermont, Department of Disabilities, Aging, and Independent Living as a level
III residential care home. |
As a not-for-profit charitable
organization, we are dedicated to providing a secure, caring home for the
elderly or mentally-challenged. We work hard to meet each resident's
physical, social, emotional, and spiritual needs in a caring and home-like
atmosphere.

Our highly-qualified staff members are
at least 18 years of age, have a minimum of LNA licenses, and have vast
experience with individuals with special needs.
The home is owned and operated by Richard and Nancy Church, who have
cared for developmentally disabled individuals for over fourteen years.
The owner is a licensed security professional. |

We have a long history
of providing excellent care, ensuring comfort, safety, and dignity
to our residents while providing peace-of-mind to their families.
Our limited size ensures lots of individual attention and personal
care. |
We offer assistance with daily living,
medication management, nursing overview, reminders and verbal cues, all meals, housekeeping, linens and laundry services,
bed making, transportation to medical appointments, and more.
Our rates include all
amenities and services listed, including: three daily restaurant-style meals, snack items and
beverages throughout the day, activities, games, music, social events, light
exercise, scheduled outings, hobbies, and crafts.
